Whoever said that a lucky soul doesn’t want should be marked the righteousness of all mankind. The widely talked about Miss Curvy pegeant at least proved this righteousness as in employed fresh graduate was being crowned the most curviest of all the 24 contestants.
In the Miss curvy pegeant grand finals held at Imperial Royal Hotel, Munyonyo on Friday 26th April, 2019, a 25yr-old Nansazi, resident of Kitoro Entebbe was crowned the maiden miss curvy pegeant winner and also awarded with a brand new jeep Cherokee car as a prize of the competitions.
She was also given a scholarship to study a Diploma, Bachelor’s or a Masters course in any of her interested fields at Victoria University, Kampala. Additionally, Nansanzi shall undertake a free short course in Public speaking and presentation.
The first five out of the 25 contestants to be kicked out of the Cat Walk were Aisha Namale, Joanitta Ayebare, Esther Among, Sumaya Nakazi and Patience Ahumuza.
These first participated in cat- walking runways in their beautiful attires and thereafter they faced judges Marianne Mungoma and Micheal Makunzi in brain battle or common knowledge questions.
These (judges) asked the contestants on what they would use the crown if they merged winners and these were heard confessing they would use the position to implore their fellow women known as “fat women” to fight against the stereotypes that the public has towards them

The event unlike other events in the country attracted much media attention both local and international media including BBC, FPA and the British Fashion and Design television. These shifted their crews to Munyonyo which to many believed shall add value on the country’s tourism industry.
