Bubangizi SSS shines in Mitooma district for best performance in the 2022 UCE results. Out of 189 candidates that appeared for exams, 59 candidates passed in Division 1, 63 in Division 2, 40 in Div 3, 26 in Div 4, while one student was absent.

Bubangizi SSS in Ruhinda county Mitooma district has again recorded the best performance after 59 candidates excelled in Division One in the 2022 UCE exams.

On Thursday, the Uganda National Examinations Board – UNEB released results of the 2022 UCE exams at State House Nakaseero. Out of 345,945 who registered for UCE examinations, 46,667 passed in division one, 76,745 in division 2, 88,690 in division 3 & 117,837 passed in division 4.

In Mitooma district, the Catholic church founded and government aided Bubangizi SSS maintained its position as the district academic giant after 99% of the candidates passed the examanations to get a certificate for UCE and enrol for post secondary studies.

According to the UNEB 2022 UCE results which was seen by Parrots UG, out of 189 candidates who sat for2022 UCE examinations, 59 passed in division one, 63 in division 2, 40 in division 3 & 26 passed in division 4. One candidate was absent and therefore didn’t sit for examinations.

The best candidate, Namanya Britus got 10 aggregates in 8, followed by Isaac Akampurira,(Agg 14), Akandwanaho Collins (Agg 15), Clare Atukunda (Agg 16), Arinda Oscar and Esther Nahamya scored 17 Aggregates, respectively.

Students performed best both in liberal Arts and Science languages.

Under the stewardship of John Barigye, the Headteacher, Bubangizi SSS has for over the last decade remained at the peak of best academic performing schools in Mitooma district, one of the best in the southwestern region and at national levels. The school has also registered a great stride in other co-curricular activities like Sports, MDD, and other science expos showcasing various innovations by learners.

BUBANGIZI UCE RESULTS

Parrots Media CEO, Leonard Kamugisha Akida, an alumnus, attributes the greater success to spiritual and moral integrity at the school which contributes to high levels of discipline and unbeatable performances.

“Every student at Bubangizi has the right to freedom of worship disregard of their religions. It’s this spiritual growth that is rarely found in other schools and academic institutions which instils morals and discipline in students this the best academic performances,” Kamugisha said.

During the release of results, Uneb noted that a total of 15,756 failed the examinations and are expected to repeat if they wish to proceed to senior five.
