Police in Luuka district is holding in its cells a 45yrs-old Boda Boda rider for allegedly murdering his wife and two biological sons yesterday in Banda, Nakawa division.
According to police, the suspect has been identified as Mbago Yasin a resident of Banda “B3” zone, Nakawa Parish Nakawa Division in Kampala. He’s arrested on allegations of murder of his wife and two biological sons.
Yesterday the blacksmith news of the triple murder by a Boda Boda rider in Kireka Banda “B”, Nakawa division Kampala made circulations in the media leaving hundreds saddened.
It was reported that Yasin, a Boda Boda cyclist at Kireka Farmer’s market strangled his wife and two biological sons for what came to be known as domestic violence. However, the suspect took on his heels and investigations to track him were underways.
According to ASP Luke Owoyesigiire, the Deputy Police Spokesman Kampala Metropolitan Police, the incident took place in Banda ” B3″ zone, Nakawparish, Nakawa division Kampala district.
The deceased were identified as Carol Namboozo 25yrs- old mother and two children only identified as Shaban 7yrs & Musa 4yrs.
Eye witnesses told police which was on the crime scene that Yasin has always assaulted his wife which they was a cause of the deaths.
Police said the suspect after committing the acts, he wrapped the deceased each in a separate sack and then took off .
KMP has confirmed Yasin’s arrest and at Luuka CPS on allegations of murders and efforts to transfer him to Kampala are pending.
