Unknown assailants in Mbale City have killed Grace Neumbe, a parish chief in Sironko district.
The incident happened in Nkoma Ward in Mbale City Northern Division at around 7pm on Sunday.
The assailants slit Neumbe in the throat.
Denis Giboni, a resident of Wagagi cell, says that the assailant pounced on the deceased in a dark corridor, adding that she ran limping with cuts all over her body and the throat and they tried to rush her to the hospital but she died on a Boda Boda.
Neumbe recently graduated from IUIU and has been serving as Parish Chief in Sironko District.
She is also a daughter to Mr Kibuda, a brother to FDC’s Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi, the Budadiri West member of parliament. May Her Soul RIP.
