Old boys of Nyakasura school and those of Ntare School will face-off in a friendly match this Sunday,2nd July 2023 at Old Kampala Play ground starting from 4:00PM EAT.
Nyakasura school Alumni are playing the first season of their football league that began in February this year with Sunday’s edition marking match day three. Ntare school old boys have been invited to grace the games and provide some guidance to this young league according to Ronald Karuhanga, the chairperson of the Nyakasura school Alumni league.
“Ntare’s league is the best and perhaps one of the oldest in the country,so we thought inviting them would help create a relationship that we can learn from as a newly established league,” Karuhanga said.
“We really intend to learn from them in all aspects because they’ve been here for now about 13 years and still counting,” he added.
Karuhanga also said that the other reason for organising a friendly match with Ntare School is to rekindle the sweet old memories since these two prestigious school share a lot in common historically.
“There is too much in common between these schools,we have a lot of memories to share in regards our history and the prestige we share as the only two schools in this Country,so we really have a lot to benefit from this friendly match,” he said.
Karuhanga confirmed that game day three of the Nyakasura school Alumni league will also be graced by one of the school’s most loved Head Masters,Frank Manyindo who led the school.
