Russia’s strong military ally and the main opposition military leader Wegner Yevegeny Prigozhin has been confirmed dead after a plane crash on Wednesday evening in North Moscow.
According to the BBC, the Wegner linked telegram linked channel Grey Zone reported that the jet was shot by air defences in the Tvre region.
Two months ago, the Wagner group under the leadership of Yevgeny Prigozhin launched an insurrections against President Vladimir Putin where he promised that the group would be punished saying that it was a “treachery” and “ a stab in the back” in the back of Russia.
The BBC said that there was incredulity in Russia were not , when the deal was cut between Mr Priogozhin and the kremlin to end the mutiny, all the charges against the Wagner founder and his fighters were dropped , despite the fact that Russian servicemen had been killed during the murky which made president Putin look weak.
Prigozhin’s mercenaries of the Wagner group were said to be in several African countries including Mali, Burkina Faso and Central African Republic and also claimed to have responsibility of Niger’s military coup after a linked telegram clip which appeared on telegram channel suggesting that he was in an unnamed African Country but was not clear of When the video and audio were shot.
