KAMPALA
Kampala Metropolitan Police have intercepted a suicide bomber with suspected bomb explosive devices at Miracle Centre Cathedral church owned by Pr. Robert Kayanja.
KMP spokesperson Patrick Onyango has identified the suspect as Ibrahim Kintu. He was found with an improvised explosive device (IED) in form of a food flask.
Police is now in search of other 3 IEDs potential to cause a terror attack.
“The bombs were 4, one now foiled, 3 more still in the public,” Onyango said
According to Onyango, the suspect was intercepted before he entered the church
Police’s bomb squad was called in to conduct ‘control detonation’ and the explosives detonated.
