Police in Rubanda District are holding six suspects on allegations of murder of a man who was allegedly caught bonking live a neighbor’s wife. A local radio VOK reported.
The suspects identified as Akampereza Medius, Masiko Brenda, Colodina Salume, Kajoba Joseph, Kakyenga and Jack Laban,all residents of Nyarurambi village in Ikamiro Parish, Muko Sub County Rubanda district.
They are accused of killing a one Maniragaba James a resident of the same village who allegedly was found whopping Ms Twinamasiko Brenda a wife to Kadogo Gadi.
Reports by police indicates that It’s reported that on June28th,2020 at around Midnight, Kadogo Gadi found Maniragaba James (the deceased) having sex with his wife and tipped off his friends who came and started beating Maniragaba until he became unconscious.
He was thereafter carried to his home where he died in the morning of June 29th 2020.
Milton Byarugaba, the LC1 Chairman of Nyarurambi village reported the matter at Muko Police Station in Rubanda District and police arrived at the scene.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi regional Police Spokesperson said that Kadogo Gadi, the prime suspect who caused an alarm is on a run and police is hunting for him.
Meanwhile, the six other suspects have according to Maate been arrested and a murder case by mob justice has been registered at Muko Police Station in Rubanda District under reference number CRB 50/2020 to help in investigations.
