The Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate, Patrick Oboi Amuriat is now breathing behind the coolers after police arrested him for offending traffic regulations.
Amuriat was arrested on Sunday in Mpigi district where he had gone to campaign and he is now being detained at Mpigi Central Police Station.
This is a second time the candidate is being detained on similar offences in a period of two days.
On January 7,Amuriat was arrested by police alongside his driver, a one Micheal Emurot in Kakumiro district but were later arraigned before the grade one magistrate court which granted them a bail.
Amuriat was charged of seating on top of his car while his driver was charged of reckless driving, before could could grant them a Ugx 500,000 non cash bail.
