KAGADI:
Police in Kagadi district has in custody a 42-year-old suspect on allegations of impersonating as late Bishop Owobusobozi Bisaka.
The suspect is Emanzi Silivano, 42, a resident of Rubanda district in Kigezi sub region.
He was arrested at Kapyemi hilll Muhorro Town Council Kagadi district, the exact place where the deceased palace is. The arrest follw after the faithful raised concerns over alleged masquerading.
The Kagadi District Police Commander, Muzima Moses Kiconco has confirmed to the arrest.
According to reports, the suspect was impersonating as late Bishop Bisaka saying that he had risen from the dead and promising the faithful miracles and wonders.
Owobusobozi Bisaka, the founder of the Faith of Unity Movement in Bunyoro region died on January 14th in Kenya at the age of 90yrs.
DPC Muzima has said that the suspect is currently detained at Kagadi CPS on charges of impersonation and extortion of money by false pretence.
