This significant development marks the end of an illustrious chapter as Sr. Gladys Kachope, the outgoing headmistress, bids farewell to the institution she has served with unwavering dedication for 19 years.
Sr. Gladys Kachope’s tenure as headmistress has been a testament to her exceptional leadership and commitment to the education and empowerment of young girls. Her selfless service has been instrumental in shaping the minds and characters of countless students, many of whom have gone on to become accomplished individuals in their respective fields.
Recently, Sr. Gladys Kachope’s outstanding contributions to education were recognized at the continental level, as she was bestowed with the prestigious award of Continental Headteachers by the African Union (AU). This accolade serves as a poignant reminder of her tireless efforts to promote academic excellence and holistic development among her students.
As Sr. Gladys Kachope embarks on a new chapter in her career, taking on a fresh role at Bonnyconcil Girls’ School in Isingiro, the school community welcomes Sr. Sabina Tumusiime as the new headmistress. Previously serving as the deputy headmistress, Sr. Sabina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new position, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in the school’s pursuit of excellence.
Additionally, Sr. Grace, formerly the headmistress of Boni Concil Girls Vocational School in Kyabirukwa, joins the Immaculate Heart Girls’ School community as the new deputy headmistress. Her extensive experience in education and leadership will undoubtedly enrich the school’s academic programs and co-curricular activities.
