Police and other security agencies have been warned against popping their nose in the electoral processes for Oyam North county parliamentary by-election.

“As UPC, we call for peaceful campaigns, free and fair elections throughout the exercise,” Arach said.
She called for vigilance to protect votes right from the electoral materials transportation, at polling centres to the final tally centre.
Four candidates are contesting for Oyam North county parliamentary by-election seat. They are Dr. Apio Eunice Otuko (UPC), Samuel Engola Okello (NRM), Dr. Okello Newton Freddy (FDC), and Daniel Okello (NUP).
UPC candidate Dr. Apio who describes herself as a development activist says her priority will be to help people out of insurgencies such as abject povert, in sorry state roads, poor education and health systems in Lango.
She added that her team has mobilized enough support and she is sure she will win the by election.
