Security officials in Arua have assured both believers and non-believers of the Faith of Unity of their readiness to safeguard them as they prepare to welcome their leader, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka. The famous spiritual leader is scheduled to visit Arua City from April 4 to April 7, 2025, as part of his mission to foster unity among Ugandans.
During a security meeting chaired by Arua City Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Komaketch Salim and his deputy Angupale, security agencies reaffirmed their preparedness to ensure a smooth and secure reception for Owobusobozi Bisaka and his followers.
Authorities emphasized that all necessary measures have been put in place to facilitate a safe and organized gathering for the much anticipated influx of people.
Owobusobozi Bisaka’s visit is part of his ongoing efforts to mobilize support for President Museveni and the NRM government, a cause he has championed for decades. His three-day tour will also extend to Masindi-Bukwenda, where Arua is located to reinforce his message of unity and socio-political engagement.
RCC Komaketch Salim emphasized that security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of over one million people expected to attend the event. He assured maximum security for all participants, underscoring the government’s commitment to a peaceful gathering.
The meeting that took place at the RCC’s office in Arua city was attended by West Nile Police Commander Afande Regan Grace Muganza, leaders of the Faith of Unity from Masindi-Bukwenda, and representatives from the hosting Bukwenda.
For those unfamiliar, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka is the founder and leader of the Faith of Unity, headquartered in Kagadi District, Western Uganda, in Kapyemi Village, Muhororo Town Council.
With a global following of over six million believers, his teachings continue to influence communities across Uganda and beyond.
