Empowering Women: Bridging Legal Rights with Economic Access in Uganda

BY: Leonard Kamugisha AKIDA

        FAMILY BONDAGE

Most of the things experienced good or bad have a bond from our families, our ancestral fathers. Family bondage can simply be defined as a Family Tree.

Just as a tree grows roots deeper in the ground and the branches, so are our families. We have deeper roots with our ancestors and those living are the branches.

A lot more bonds us together. Both the good and the bad. When not discovered and death with, family trees may causesufferings in our day to day lives.

Religious leaders especially those in the catholic church and pentecostal born again churches have tried all means possible to teach about Family Trees. However, a few of the believers go further to self discover about their lineages.
Authors have also contributed a lot towards creating awareness on family tree, its generational impacts and influences on one’s spiritual, economic life. There is much literature review on Breaking Family Bondages.
Most people have a negative mental attitude towards family bondages. These think that its a Spiritual architect. Due to desperacy caused by lack of spiritual guidance, they think they’re bewitched. A few of them can tell the implications of this on their economic, social lives.
Family bondages are spiritual, economic and above all inheritable. They can be negative or positive.
Examples of negative family bindages include: Fatal dseases such as diabetes, heartattack, cancers etc that are inheritable! they are genetic and hereditary~ hat’s FAMILY TREE
Others are; Deaths: loss of young children, the youths, first borne, sudden deaths, miscarriages,
Grind poverty: daily quarrels,Polygamous marriages, divorce, do not marry ie (Singliness, Bachelorhood and Spinsterhood), insanity etc.
Addictions: smoking, alcohol, list, fights etc.
Accidents: home accidents, suicides, road, water & air accidents etc.
Perhaps, there are families that live happily and harmoniously, rich, hospitable, mention all good things. These either have positive lineages or have sacrificed all their lives in prayers to break their negative family chains.
Such families are GOD BLESSED and either inherited the Goodness from Ancestors Or Learned About God And Broke The Family Bondage. Uprooted The Taproots Of Family Tree. This can only be done when you forgive, relieve anger. And above all, discovering your family lineage and praying over it.
Discovering family bondages is also important in marriage and relationships. Its also important to note that you can help to intercede for a friend, relative, spouse to breakthrough his/her bondages eventhough they are not aware. For instance; praying for your husband to quit alcohol or a child to get a job.

I See Young Boys And Girls Go For Blood Test And Other Health Examinations Before Getting Married. there are important things these do not consider.

FAMILY BONDAGE is the greatest thing in marriage: before getting married to him/her,its good to tell their family trees.some ave poor backgrounds.

The family lineage is a chain that when not discovered and freed may be dangerous to lives.
Breaking free/through this lineage is what all God’s people look at for betterment of their lives.

READ THIS STORY: “Laura, a young and immature young woman, begins to discover her femininity. She celebrates her eighteenth birthday with her father and her best friend. That evening she tries at all costs to show her father she is becoming an adult.”

As you carry out blood tests before wedding, also consider their family backgrounds.
Besides, family bondage affects even those outside marriage. Its well stated in prior paras. Its not new that certain families have demonic bondages.

WHY FAMILY BONDAGE?

  • Parental / Ancestral curses
  • Nightmare attack
  • Touching unclean things
  • Visiting strange doctor
  • Stealing
  • Prayerlessness
  • The anger of the ancestral powers
  • Evil dedication
  • Loss of a dear one (especially at a younger age)
  • Demonic sacrifice
  • The worship of gods.
  • Unforgiving.

     WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?
Family Bondage is as old as creation.Although am not good at reading the Bible, little things I understand is that Biblical teachings teach about breaking a family bond. Prayers and Fasting are what ought be done. However, these are impossibilities before discovering oneself. Self-discovery regarding your family bond is helpful in breaking out the bondage. Sacrifice and regular prayers in fasting may help you be revealed to what bonds your family, clan and companions.Pray Regularly
.
Allow Jesus to “hem you in behind and before” Ps139:5. He can hem in our past and stitch up our wounds.
He is already before us, He is our anchor in the future. Psalms 139 assures us that God intimately knew us before we were born. He created us and His eyes saw our unformed bodies. Generational bondages is not a surprise to God when we bring it before him. Christ desires to set the captives free, and this includes the family system. We have a “Godly heritage” in Christ Jesus (Ps16:6). St Paul in his letter to the Galatians 5:1 says that Christ set us free: “Its for freedom that Christ set us free.”

Every time you feel rejected, abandoned, outcastes, disowned, desperate and heavy laddened because of these bondages, just know:

WE ARE OF CHRIST BONDAGE.
Even Christ had a blend of the negative and positive in his lineage. Don’t hate yourself because of the situation at hand. Just run to the cross. For the Lord tirelessly watches, protects and heals those who bring these bondages to Him.
FAMILY BONDAGE PRAYERS

Deuteronomy 29:19-21; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

Psalms 34:21Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate

Romans 16:20 , And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen

1Jn 3:8: For this purpose the Son of God was manifested , that he might destroy the works of the devil.
