A woman in Buhweju has been arrested for allegedly killing her 2-year-old child.
The suspect is Immaculate Kwetegyeka, 28, a resident of Kazirwa A in Bitsya Parish, Buhweju District. She was allegedly killed her son, Kellian Akandwanaho, 2, over yet to find out reasons.
Eye witnesses said Kwetegyeka kicked Akandwanaho, stomping on her until the child died.
The Greater Bushenyi Region Police Spokesperson, Apollo Tayebwa, said the police took the body to the mortuary at Nsiika Health Centre IV for a postmortem as investigations are ongoing.
