Clarke International University (CIU) has been honored with the prestigious Quality Excellence Award, securing the Platinum Winner title for the Best Private Medical University in East Africa. This significant accolade was presented by the East Africa Brand Quality Awards (EABQA), in partnership with the Chartered Quality Institute and Alconext, as part of their efforts to encourage quality improvements across both the manufacturing and service sectors in the region.
Clarke International University (CIU) has been honored with the prestigious Quality Excellence Award for the Best Private Medical University in East Africa (Platinum Winner) by the East Africa Brand Quality Awards (EABQA) in partnership with the Chartered Quality Institute and Alconext.
According to the awarding body, the award aims to encouraging quality improvements in both manufacturing as well as service sectors in East Africa.
“We are delighted to inform you that Clarke International University was nominated and voted for the Quality Seal of Excellence for the 4th Edition of the East Africa Brand Quality Awards with Clarke International University brands,” read a message from EABQA.
This prestigious award, EABQA said recognizes outstanding brands, achievements and contributions in the business community towards achieving the SDGs which CIU stood out.
The university was rigorous nomination and voting process, where the voting constituted 70% of the total score, while the remaining 30% was decided by a panel of judges. The criteria for evaluation included economic sustainability, operational effectiveness, technology adoption, leadership, community contribution, and more.
“Our Judges were considering; Economic sustainability, operational effectiveness and technology adoption, progressive leadership and culture, social and Community contribution, commitment and perseverance, Quality, affordability, reliability, niche market, brand impact, distinction from the competition, target group relevance, homogeneity of the brand results, design quality of the brand presentation, sustainability marketing, consumer care, market growth, social impact-CSR Initiatives, trustworthiness and credibility and understanding of Customer needs.”
The award will be officially presented to CIU at the 4th Edition of the Award gala due on November 29, at Golf Course Hotel, Kampala.
The ceremony will attract distinguished guest speakers from governments, standard bodies and other agencies; the global council for the promotion of international trade, Halal research council and Alconext among others.
