Security in Jinja has arrested five medics at Jinja referral hospital on allegations of stealing government drugs from the hospital.
The arrest followed moments after a Taxi which the medics were alllegedly using to transport drugs to Kampala was intercepted at Ambercourt URA checkpoint with several essential drug s and other medical items.
Upon interrogations, the search lead to the arrest of the five medics whose identies is yet to be disclosed,
