Dr John Pombe Magufuli, President of the Republic of Tanzania has said most of the countries are reporting corona virus cases in their countries in order to get funds from the donors. Despite the many cases reported in his country, Magufuli still doubts on the presence of the virus in Africa.
Magufuli who was addressing people stated in his speech that most of the COVID-19 testing kits European countries have donated yo Africa are fake.
“The virus has been detected in fruits and in animals yet its said to be affecting only humans,” Magufuli wondered.
He further said that the virus could be a conspiracy to cause panic in his Country.
Magufuli,he is not the first person to doubt on the spread of virus & confirmed cases in the Africa. Reknown Ugandan Pastor Yiiga alias Abizaayo of Kawaala, à city suburb is in prison after he reportedly said that Uganda doesn’t have any case of COVID-19 on his ABSTv.
Tanzania today has over 632 COVID-19 cases with more death fatalities. It apparently stopped the Media and health wotkers from reporting and discussing about corona virus cases.
Inside reports shows that the state resorted to burying the dead bodies late in the night.
Unlike other East African countries, Magufuli refused to declare a lockdown in Tanzania something people accuse him of on the escalating number of cases.
