It was a jubilant weekend for Parrots Media company as two of their religious reporters were elevated to pastoral and academic levels, respectively.

The two staff Rev. Dn. Robert Nsinga, who was ordained a priest at Our Lady of Good Shepherd Rushorooza Cathedral Kabale Diocese in Kabale municipality and at the same time, Sem. Steady congratulatory messages were the order of the Saturday evening for the Parrots staff on their Newsroom forum, who were congratulating their own on their successful journeys of life and the jubilations continued  up to Sunday when Fr. Robert Nsinga, MCCJ said his first mass in a Thanks giving held at his home parish, Rwamagaya in Ruhinda subcounty, Rujumbura, Rukungiri district.

Whereas, the young seminarian’s graduation party was held in Nsasa Namugongo, Kiira municipality, Wakiso district the previous day.

Fr. Nsinga, whose numerous religious articles have been reproduced to Parrots Media online Newspaper; Parrots UG from his personal blog Nsinga Robert, becomes the first inborn priest of Rwamagaya parish and his ordination to Priesthood was not only historical to Parrots Media but also to his home parish. The priest’s blogs on spirituality and social affairs related to the ministry.

The young priest is a brain behind the Daily Mind Booster, a rising online platform that publishes daily graphic philosophical quotes. He has also worked with numerous multimedia outlets like Uganda Catholic Television (UCTV), Parrots UG, Uganda Martyr’s University (UMU) Nkozi journalism department, either as a freelance writer, social media influencer or a trainee.

First forward, the Rotaract Club of Cavendish University also a contributor at Parrots Media, Jasper Twesige told graduands that their achievements reflect not only their individual excellence but also the values of service, leadership and the community.

“As you embark on this new adventure, remember that the world needs compassionate, innovative and determined leaders like you,” he urged.

The mood has so far switched from slightly secular to spiritual time as the two religious staff were elevated. While it remains uncertain where Parrots Media will be in 100 years, our potentials for success are known.
