The Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) has said that the fire outbreaks in Kamwokya Kifumbira zone was a result of fire which gutted one of the houses near their transmission lines making the lines to fall and cause countless damages.
“#fireoutbreak Fire gutted one of the houses in the corridor of Namanve-Kampala North 123kV transmission line, causing the transmission wire to break and fall fatally wounding 2 people in Kifumbira slum, Kamwokya.” UETCL said on Twitter.
