Kampala International University has postponed online examinations that were scheduled for 28th June.
This follow a request from the students leadership who asked for rescheduling of exams to enable students prepare on time which the Senate approved.
A new date was then set and according to a Memo from the University Vice Chancellor Dr. Mouhamad Mpezamihingo , exams will now start on 5th July.
In a special Senate meeting with student leaders that was held on Monday, it was adopted that the university approves the online examination protocol and students will sit for their end of semester exams via online.
“Yesterday 21st June, the university Senate had a special sitting to discuss and approve the KIU online examination protocol. After the comprehensive discussion, the protocol was unanimously passed.” read excerpts of a Memo from the university Vice chancellor.
Dr. Mpezamihingo said in a Memo that an updated examination timetable will be shared to reflect the changes via the exam portal https://exams.kiu.ac.ug as soon as possible.
