Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago’s family has narrowly survived death after a speeding car rammed into their house in Wakaliga Rubaga, Kampala this evening
The motor vehicle is a Subaru forester Registration number UAJ 704K series reportedly knocked the Lord Mayor’s gate and entered the house through the main entrance up to the dinning room.
According to the Lord Mayor, the children and their mother who were at home were first shocked after they heard a big bang like a bomb explosion inside the house which was later realized to be an accident.
None of the family members was injured in the accident but, Lukwago says that one of the Askaris at the gate obtained minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle also survived and another occupant purported to be the driver’s sustained injuries and was rushed to unknown hospital.
By place time, police had been informed but had not arrived at the scene of the accident
