Tanzania: President John Pombe Magufuli has started on creating cabinet soon after his inauguration.
Latest from the President’s Communications office is the election of two ministers on the cabinet.
According to Person Msigwa, the Director of Communication in the Office of the President, President Magufuli, on Tuesday November 13, has appointed Prof. Palamagamba John Aidan Mwaliko Kabudi, as the Minister for East African Corporations and Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango, as Minister for Finance and Planning.
The duo are according to Msigwa, have been ministers.
“These were elected in the previous council of president Magufuli, they’re the ministers,” said Msigwa.
Yesterday, President Magufuli reappointed Kassim Majaliwa as his Prime Minister.
All 350 MPs voted in favour of PM Majaliwa’s appointment to head the new cabinet.
Msigwa added in a document that the appointment of the two ministers starts with immediate effect.
