The police in Sheema district, south western Uganda is holding in custody a suspect for allegedly cutting off the arm of his wife’s lover after he cauht him redhanded having sex in his matrimonial bed.
The suspect is Hamson Kamuza, a resident of Kyamugozi cell, Kyempitsi parish Shuuu Sheema district.
It is alleged that on Saturday at around midday, Kamuza got a tip off from one of the residents (identity withheld) that his wife a one Gloria Kamuza was committing adultery with another man at the couple’s home.
Out of uncontrolled anger, Kamuza rushed home with a sharp panga and found the duo in an act, he withno hesitation cut off the arm of an adulterous man who has been identified as Derrick Tubwabira.
The Kyamugozi cell Local council chairperson Gordon Ashaba, said Tubwabira was critically harmed.
Residents who accused Kamuza’s wife for a stressful act said she has been bringing other men inside his husband’s house accusations that have seen the couple brea up for four times but still made back.
“The two tried to divorce for four times but however would get back together until this incident happened,” an anonymous resident said.
Local council authorities have condemned the act and urged that the two should have used the local Council courts, and or police family protection unit instead of participating in domestic violence.
The suspect is currently being detained at Kishabya police post to answer charges while the adulterous man, Derick Tubwabira was rushed to one of the clinics in Kishabya Town council for medical treatments.
