President Museveni has appointed Nobert Mao, the Democratic Party (DP) President minister of Justice and Constitutional affairs.
The news of the appointment has been announced by the Deputy Presidential Press Secretary, Faruk Kirunda.
This comes a day after Mao, the Chairman General of the Democratic Party as popularly known signed a corporation agreement to work with NRM.
In the same capacity, Kirunda announced, the president has also reshuffled Denis Hamson Obua from the ministry of education and sports where he has been serving as the state minister of sports and named him the Government Chief Whip.
Obua has been replaced with former state minister for ICT, Peter Ogwang.
The mini cabinet reshuffles have also seen the Agago district Woman MP, Hon. Akello Beatrice Akori being appointed the minister of state for economic monitoring in the office of the president.
The appointees names will be submitted to the speaker of parliament for vetting and approval by the parliamentary vetting committee.
