In a remarkable convergence of faith, over 264 People in Rakai joined Faith of Unity founded by Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka during the group’s three-day event in Rakai district Central region, Ssembabule Bukwenda Diocese.

The event witnessed thousands of believers and non-believers participating in prayers, celebrations, and expressing gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for his role in bringing peace to Uganda.

Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka, the head and founder of the Faith of Unity, commended President Museveni for recognizing the faith’s mission to end witchcraft in the country. Recounting on the challenges which the Faith of Unity has faced in the past 44 years, Owobusobozi Bisaka said President Museveni has been able to investigate and acknowledge the positive impact of their work.

President Museveni’s efforts to eradicate witchcraft and night dancers in Uganda was warmly welcomed by the Owobusobozi Bisaka who promoted unity and stability among Ugandans.

Owobusobozi Bisaka expressed gratitude, stating, “It’s in Faith of Unity where we only rest three days in the month and spend the rest working, promoting the values of oneness and leaving behind time-consuming religious practices.”

The event kicked off with a holy march in Kooki Sub country, where millions of people, believers, and non-believers joined Owobusobozi in a procession towards Boma grounds. The overwhelming turnout caused delays in accessing the venue due to the sheer number of participants seeking spiritual and physical healing from Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka.

Members of Parliament and local leaders who were in attendance, showed their support for the Faith of Unity and commended its significant impact on the community. Over 134 individuals also entered into the Itambiro (spiritual dedication) of Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka and 146 were inaugurated as new staff ( Bahereza)

During the event, Owobusobozi Bisaka also celebrated the 80th birthday of president . After Rakia Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka visited His Bukwenda of Muteme where also 127 people joined the Faith and also ingurated 209 Bahereza as new staff to help in growth of the Faith.
