An advertising executive, Fred R Barnard famously said that: ” one picture is worth a thousand words.”  Yes, “A thousand words leave not the same deep impression as does a single deed,” asserts Henrik Ibsen.

The pictorials of retired army officer Maj Gen. Saverino Kahinda Otafiire at the graduation ceremony of his son conveys a stronger message than words as he cheerfully look at the harvests of his sown mustard seed.

Ernesto Sharom Otafiire, is among the hundreds of thousand students that graduated at Cardiff University United Kingdom between 20th July and 22nd July, 2022.

The graduates who patiently waited for two years eventually graduated.

Ernesto according to a reliable source to the Otafiire family graduated in Bachelor’s degree of .Environment Science

However, Ernesto’s bondage in the Otafiire lineage is unknown to many as the available information indicates only three known biological children the general fathered with his late wife Winfred Karungi Otafiire (RIP)

Karungi who passed on 9th February, 2004, left behind three children namely; Fidel Mugarura (11), Henina Kamayonza (13) and Franchesca Kamakondere (6).

Otafiire later re-married, Fridah Nayebale in October 2014 and details of this marriage is still not public.

Its still not clear and debatable like the history of Buganda Kingdom, on who mothered Sharom Otafiire.

Be as it may; Parrots UG sneaked into the minister’s album and here are the mementos to this red letter day. Enjoy
