The police in Wakiso is investigating the disappearance of two children from Uganda Martyrs Junior School in Kasegejje, Wakiso district.
In a statement by police, the children both members of the same family; Irene Ainembabazi, 9 and Elisa Nuwabasa, 5, were last seen 2025 at the school premises along Kasegejje road on February 21.
“Preliminary reports indicate that they may have headed to Nansana,” Police reported.
Police emphasized that a thorough search is being conducted to find the missing children.
“Police in coordination with the school and the victims’ family are actively searching for them,” Police statement read in parts.
They have requested anyone with knowledge regarding the whereabouts of the kids or information that could help with the inquiry to step forward and report to the nearest police station or call +256772646348
