The Territorial police in Entebbe is investigating the cause of a fire outbreak at Kisubi Girls Primary School which occured today on 25th October 2023.
According to Luke Owoyesigire , the Kampala Metropolitan deputy Spokesperson the incident was reported to police at 8am and it is believed to have initiated in the primary four dormitory.
“The exact cause of this fire remains unkown at this time. Our dedicated teamc of investigators id dliigently working to uncover the circumstances leading to this incident.“ Owoyesigire said
He also added that swift response from the fire prevention and rescue services prevented the fire from spreading further,successfully extinguishing it.
“We are relieved to report that injuries or loss of life were recorded, as all pupils had safely evacuated the dormitory before the fire ignited, regrettably all items within the dormitory were lost in the blaze” he said
