KAYUNGA: Police in Kayunga district is underfire from the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Elijah Madoi for allegedly shielding a detective involved in dubious deals.
On Wednesday, Madoi ordered Ntenjeru police station to arrest Isma Mutuko, a detective attached to the same police station for allegedly taking people’s vehicles after duping them into signing sale agreements.
He was however left in shock to learn on Thursday that the detective had been released without appearing in court of refunding the money of his accusers.
According to Madoi, his office has recorded many complaints from people who accuse Mutukuof using his powers to dube them into signing sale agreements of their vehicles.
