It was a moment of pure elation and gratitude at the Patriotism Secretariat in Muyenga as the Commissioner of thr National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps Hellen Seku presented a brand new car to NRM spokesperson Rogers Mulindwa from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The gift was presented in recognition of his exemplary service, marked by commitment, dedication, love, zeal, and patriotism towards his country.

Seku recounted that despite losing his car during the 2016 elections, Mulindwa persevered, continuing to work tirelessly and patriotically for the NRM party.
“This morning I was humbled to handover a gift of appreciation to Mr. Mulindwa whose vehicle was burnt during the 2016 elections, thanks to President Museveni for always rewarding hardworking people,” Seku said
She added that “I thank Jaaja Nalweiso and State House Comptroller Jane Barekye for putting a smile on this patriot’s face.”
“This gesture shows that whoever works hard get paid, President Museveni has appreciated Mulindwa’s efforts because he has worked as a cadre for long,” she added.
On his part, Mulindwa thanked the President for recognising his works and effort.
“In a special way, I feel happy that I have been recognized by the fountain of honor and I want to thank my President alot.”

“I started working for NRM in 2014 as a volunteer and it is coming to a dozen years and I climbed ladders to the position below the Director,” noted Mulindwa
He added that “I didn’t expect this but I also want to thank the Commissioner of Patriotism Hellen Seku because when we had a chat, and she encouraged me that my efforts has to be rewarded and she reached out to Mzee and here I am, with the best gift I have ever received in life,”
“I’m so humbled that the President has appreciated my work and efforts, in most cases, most people don’t get recognized iam really honoured,” said Mulindwa.
