Popular local comedian Anne Kansiime once said; “when a woman breaks up a man with a vision, she will watch that man with a vision on her me husband’s television,” but this is a never case with singer Rema Namakula who broken up with the “development myopia” Eddy Kenzo for Dr. Hamza Sebunya.

Latest from these lovebirds confirms that they recently bought Almeca hospital in Jinja City.

The gynaecologist confirmed to the developments in an interview with a local media outlet.

According to Dr. Hamza, the decision to buy Almeca hospital was reached out after the couple agreed to try out  into another venture in the area he (Dr. Hamza) understands most stressing that its suitably located in business centre.

“I developed interest to buy the facility in Jinja because I looked at the business aspect and the service delivery in jinja. Also, since Jinja is a city now really makes someone invest their monies in Jinja rather than Kampala,”

He furthered revealed their plans to set up other branches of Almeca Hospital in other parts of the country.

Shortly after breaking of the good news, social media users gave a warm welcome to Dr. Hamza’s brilliant idea of setting up a hospital.

These are confident the initiative will help to improve the health service delivery in Jinja City and the rest of other parts of the country.

About Almeca Hospital.

In 2018, a section of leaders in Jinja district petitioned the Ministry of Health (MOH) to buy off the hospital with a plan to make it a district facility to serve the people of Jinja better.

But the petition seemingly fell in deafears of the ministry’s officials.

The hospital is located in Kyamaggwa Village in Mafubira Sub-County. It was formerly owned by Butembe County Member of Parliament, Hon.  Nelson Lufafa.
