The Senior Presidential Advisor on Agriculture and local people, Peace Rugambwa has rallied the NRM leaders of Kigezi to mobilise support for the NRM presidential flagbearer, President Yoweri Museveni ahead of the 2026 general elections.
The leaders included the state minister of finance, planning and economic development Henry Musasizi and the NRM CEC National Vice Chairman for Western region Jonard Asiimwe, the NRM flag bearers for district chairpersons, mayors and Members of Parliament and Resident District Commissioners in Kigezi sub-region.
The Senior Presidential Advisor on agriculture and local people is drumming up support for Museveni and NRM torch bearers ahead of his campaign trail in Kigezi region.
She is campaigning under the slogan ” Team Peace Rugambwa, President Museveni 2026-2031″. Rugambwa appealed to the leaders to speak with one voice to mobilise votes for President Museveni and ensure that he and NRM candidates win the 2026 general elections.
She was speaking during a meeting with NRM leaders at Cephas Inn Hotel in Kabale Municipality. Asiimwe urged the leaders to work as a team to canvas votes for President Museveni and NRM candidates.
