Today, 21st Nov, 2022, S6 candidates have started writing their UACE exam starting with Chemistry practical and Economics.
The first exam started on Friday, 18th Nov, 2022 with the briefing of candidates conducted by the headteachers to make the candidates aware of the instructions obtained in the time table and the rules and regulations on the examination conduct.
A total of 97,890 candidates were registered to sit the examinations from 2,255 examination centres and among these were; 57,177 males and 40,713 females which make a percentage of 58 and 42 respectively.
Odong N Dan, the executive director urged the candidates to continue following the school regulations as he said, ” The fact that you are candidates doesn’t absolve you from following school regulations, UNEB will neither be involved nor sympathize with a candidate in case where such a candidate is subjected to disciplinary measures and account of indiscipline.
Today morning, parrotsug has reached out to some of the S6 candidates at valley college in Bushenyi district who were going to sit for their Economics paper one exams and among these include; Asinga Donah doing PEM/ICT and Nuwankunda Sabeth doing LEG/SM and they said that they are ready for the papers and teachers have given them enough content despite COVID 19 pandemic that delayed their studies for almost a year.
According to the Director of studies Kiggundu, 38 candidates have sat for the UACE exams and they hope for the better grades while the head teacher Ms. Kabeizi Doreen said that the teachers have done all that is required for the students to pass.
