Tororo Chief Magistrate, Her Worship Ajuna Doreen, has convicted a school Director to 36 months (3years) in jail for being in possession of, and sharing unauthorized examination materials, contrary to Section 25 (1) of the UNEB Act 2021.
The accused, Ejagu Moses, a.k.a. Prof. Moses VIP, is a Director of Studies at St. Mary’s Junior School Namirembe in Kapeeka, Nakaseke District.
It is alleged that Ejagu was on October 8th found in possession of a bag with hand written PLE questions, which he would allegedly type on to a supposed UNEB Question Paper and share with different groups.

Ejagu is accused together with Juko Denis, Head Teacher of the same school. He was charged with being in possession of, and sharing unauthorized examination materials pertaining to the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE).
Although Ejagu pleaded guilty to the charges, the second accused (Juko) did not plead guilty to the crimes and was taken back to prison because he lacked sureties.
