Unknown fire outbreak last night caught and burnt down to ashes headteacher’s office and school library at Kyera Primary School, Ssembabule.
Samuel Tumwesigye, the headteacher says the fire started at around 2am and that properties worth millions and other important documents were destroyed.
It is alleged that the fire was started by envious persons.
Tumwesigye who condemned this malicious act said the school doesn’t have pupils in the boarding section stating that by the time of the outbreak the school guard was at home over unhealthy conditions.
Kyera Primary School accommodates over 700 learners, 56 of whom are P.7 pupils waiting to sit for their final PLE exams on 8th and 9th November,2022
