Police is investigating circumstances under which six lions died at Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kanungu district.
Charles Twiine, the Spokesperson police CID says the lions suspectedly died of poisoning and the corpses were found dead at the Southern gate Edward flats at Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kanungu district.

Theead lions according to Twiine includes five female lions and one male Lion.
He says culprits of this poisoning once tracked are likely to face life imprisonment. “Culprits risks life imprisonment,” Twiine said.
