BUIKWE
Two people have been killed by a suspected bomb explosion in Buikwe district.
The incident happened on Monday (January 13) near a place where they sell scarps in Triangle Village, Njeru Municipality, Buikwe district.
Eye witnesses say the victims were working on a metal structure which exploded and killed them.
The police and Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF), counterterrorism units have cordoned off the scene and blocked residents from getting close to it, as they are investigating the cause of the explosion.
