A Kuru Secondary School Teacher in Yumbe district, West Nile on walking down his home fell dead and was washed away by the running waters yesterday.
Gerald Waibi, a resident of Kamuli district was according to reports a new teacher at the school where he had been posted to teach Economic and Divinity subjects.
Kuru SS deputy headteacher Abdul Yahaya, says that the deceased left work yesterday afternoon for home in Kuru trading centre to pick his cloths. Unfortunately, he did not make it to his home as he slipped off the road, collapsed dead and was taken by the heavy rains running waters along Yumbe-Koboko road
By press time, the deceased body had been discovered pending burial.
