At least two people have narrowly escaped death after a vehicle inwhich they were travelling overturned.
The incident occured earlier this morning at a place called Ngyendimbi, Nyakitooko town council burere sub county along Nyakabirizi – Buhweju road.
This was after the driver of a motor vehicle registration number UBB 137Y, fuso type delivering Kiddawalime bakery products overturned. Both the driver and his turn boy (yet to identify) survived with minor injuries.
Eye witnesses say that the driver lost control of the vehicle making it to overturn. They attributed the cause of the accident to the poor state of roads in the area which are impassable.
“The road is very rough with many potholes which make it difficult to use for drivers and motorcyclists,” Kabandize, a resident said.
Fortunately, no life has been lost as a result of this accident. The driver and his turn boy survived with minor injuries.
