In two days, the number of COVID-19 cases increased to 34 cases in less than 48hrs the first ever recorded since the country confirmed her first case in March.

This has put the lives of many Ugandans at more risks due to day to day rising numbers of truck drivers testing positive at border points. Border points have been alleged to be an epicenter of the virus in Uganda something that is prompting the population agitate for an immediate closure of the border points which gov’t is still outrageously suspending.
