As days are being numbered to reopening of bars and other sects of the performing arts industry on January 24, unvaccinated persons are likely to miss out on chopping their money according to Entertainment, bars and restaurants association.
Patrick Musiguzi, the chairperson for the entertainment, bar and restaurants Association has said that people who are not vaccinated will not be allowed to enter entertainment places.
He said this is being done to ensure that the spread of the COVID-19 is minimized.
Bar, Entertainment businesses across the country have been under lockdown for the last two years to contain the spread of corona virus. A few which have been operating were doing so illegally.
Musinguzi has asked the government to provide a stimulus package to support the businesses which have been distressed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
President Museveni in his new year message reopened the economy directing that bars and other sectors of the performing arts be reopened on January 24. Many bar operators, artists are in high gear preparations to reopen amid the third wave of the corona virus omicron variant.
