“All applicants who had earlier submitted their applications for the advertised jobs do not have to reapply.”

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has once again announced that it is seeking to recruit 663 employees to fill vacant positions at the authority.

Its should be recalled that earlier this month URA advertised open jobs however the advert was cancelled after the authority decided to amendments it and include more jobs to allow fresh graduates apply.

“This advertisement has been amended to include additional jobs and also allow fresh graduates to have an opportunity to participate. URA is therefore looking for persons with the requisite competences, proven integrity, problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to handle multiple tasks to seize the opportunities,” the tax body says.

According to URA, the advertised jobs are in communications, IT, human resource, procurement and records among others. The authority has set May 15,2021 as a deadline for receiving applications.

“Only online applications will be considered and all applicants will receive a “no reply” mail acknowledging receipt of your application from hr-ura@invalidemail.com and in case of any inquires please send an e-mail torecruitment@ura.go.ug. All applicants who had earlier submitted their applications for the advertised jobs do not have to reapply.”

Applicants have been forewarned against submission of false information which may lead to their automatic disqualification.
