Uganda wildlife Authority has strongly condemned the continued illegal killing of wildlife.
Bashir Hangi, head of communications at UWA says killing of wildlife does not only cause a negative impact but also on revenue generation which supports conservation and community work in protected areas.

Hangi’s remarks follow the suspected pousoning of 6 Lions whose dead bodies were last week duscovered in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, at Edward gate in Kanungu district.
He noted that UwA is working toith and nail to strengthen the protection of lions and other wildlife in Uganda stating that they will pursue this matter to its logical conclusion.
