“Some of us are what we are because of the intercession of Mother Mary,” MP Tayebwa said.

The Government whip was expressing his heartfelt gratitudes to the catholic community of Paidha Catholic Parish in Zombo District, Nebbi Diocese for the hospitality showered to him and other governmemt officials on Saturday when they had gone to celebrate the opening of the New Grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

His remarks comes at a time when the Catholic church world over is reciting the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM) in this month. According to the Catholic church tradition, the month of October is the month of the Holy Rosary wherein Christians across the world gather in small groups, or as individuals to recite Rosary prayers meditating five decades of the Rosary. It is believed that the Rosary is the prayer tool which Christians use to fight the devil as well as the only prayer where one directly speaks to Mother Mary.
