A 16-year female juvenile in Lwadda A Matugga village was on Thursday evening found dead in her lover’s house.
The deceased is identified as Rebecca Nakigwe, a S.3 student of Nakaseke SDA Secondary School, she was found lifeless lying in the boyfriend’s house.
The boyfriend has been identified as Alex Kibuuka, a lorry driver identified.
It is reported that the deceased who had spare keys visited her lover’s house when he was away. A lighting charcoal stove has been found inside the room inwhich she was resting and its alleged that she died of suffocation.
According to the deceased’s sister, Lydia Nabakooza, her sister woke up fine and did the house chores before leaving to meet her lover, only to find out later in the day that she is dead.
The police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga confirmed to the incident saying that Kibuuka, the boyfriend surrendered himself to the area police and is being detained at Matugga police station while the deceased body has been taken to the hospital for a postmortem.
