Police in Kampala last night arrested 32 suspects for allegedly defying the presidential directives and ministry of health directives on COVID-19.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police said the suspects were arrested in Katanga Wandegeya during police operations to enforce COVID-19 directives while watching a Premiere League match for Arsenal Vs Liverpool.
Luke Owoyesigyire the Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesman said the suspects are being detained at Wandegeya police station on charges of disobedience of lawful orders and doing acts likely to spread coronavirus.
