Residents of Kilembe in Kasese district have today morning discovered the body of a 58 year old man from River Nyamwamba near Katiri Primary school Bridge in Bulembia Division, Kasese Municipality.
The local council three chairperson for Bulembia Division Richard Bomera confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as John Paul.
“The late has been working at Caltex filling station in the area and he had previously been paid by his employer and decided to get himself drunk before he slipped off the foot bridge,” Bomera revealed in an interview with the media.
Bomera asked the local residents to regulate alcohol drinking, retire early and keep engaged to avoid idleness.
Residents in the area also confirmed that the late was a re-known drunkard who would loose himself whenever he gets drunk.
