Updates from Ministry of Health Uganda show that 5 more truck drivers have tested positive for corona virus today Sunday May 10th,2020.
According to the Ministry, the 5new COVID-19 cases are; 2 Ugandan and 3 Kenyan truck drivers who arrived via Elegu and Malaba Points of Entry.
“Today, 5 new COVID-19 cases confirmed from 1,498 samples of truck drivers. This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 121 in Uganda.” MoH report.
The Ministerial statement stated that a total of 341 Community samples tested negative during assessment surveys.
A total number 1,839 tested today.
Currently, Uganda has 55 recovered cases and no registered death cases.
