Vipers SC has announced the appointment of Charles Masembe, the former Chief Executive Director at Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) as the club’s new Sporting Director.
According to the Club, Masembe will play among other duties; creating a favourable environment at the club for the players, coaches, management and oversee youth structures with the responsibility of organising workshops and training for all staff.
He is a certified FIFA (Federationof International Football Association) referee and has officiated football at local and international levels.
The club further noted that he will act as a link between the technical staff and board of Directors and also provide technical advice to the coaching staff, give guidance for the club vision and sporting strategy.
Dr.Lawrence Mulindwa, the Club President hailed Masembe as the most experienced and exposed football administrator whose appointment will contribute on achieving the club’s vision and objectives.
“We are delighted to have appointed Charles Masembe. This is a role we have been keen to introduce into the structure for some time, and it has been in our strategic plan.” Dr. Mulindwa.
According to the info available on Vipers SC website, Masembe expressed his admirations to work with institutions such as Vipers SC which have bigger dreams.

Vipers SC believes Masembe will help to improve football operations and enhance the club’s performance.
